We are making your family’s portraits quick and easy and GREEN this year! By doing Digital Image Sessions with no paperwork or prints, we will be able to shoot well into December, when our studio would normally be closed. What does that mean for you?

Every session shot from December 1st through December 17th will include a USB portable Flash Drive of your session’s high resolution images. That means no coming back for an in-person ordering appointment, no online proofing, and no worrying about meeting deadlines for your orders! Your session will be shot, pristinely edited, and burned to a flash drive that will be ready in about three business days. Also included on your Flash Drive will be a copyright release form for you to print your images as you wish.

Why a Flash Drive and not a CD? Easy! Once a disk is scratched, you can no longer retrieve the information on it and all is lost. With a flash drive, your images are safe and secure for generations!

GREEN December Sessions will include a 1 hour session at a location in or around San Diego (mileage charges my apply) and a Flash Drive with at least 25 images for $550! (And normally we sell the digital image package for $2800, so this limited time offer is a steal!)

* Any images posted online for public viewing (i.e. personal blog, facebook, myspace, etc) must include Gina Geigley Photography somewhere on the image.

For those of you that do not get my monthly email newsletter…shame, shame!! ;) Here’s what you missed on the last one!! And don’t forget to sign up on my homepage to receive constant contact from me!!

I have been anxiously waiting for this newsletter for months now! (Come on cooler temps, right?) I finally get to announce and show off the fresh holiday card designs AND I get to help you guys decide where to photograph your special moments that will wow friends and family when they pull that gorgeous custom designed card out of the envelope!

Let’s begin by thinking about what your family has been up to this year. Do you have a favorite sport that you all do together? Do you cook a certain recipe that’s a family tradition? Do you have a certain restaurant or hang out that you always fall back on? Do you shop together? Do you take the boat out as a family? Why do I ask? Well, it is my intent with holiday sessions this year to capture your family doing what you love, where it means the most. I want you to look at your card this year and say, “Yep, that’s us and that’s real life.”

I would love to photograph your family doing an activity, messy or clean, dry or wet, country or city. Your card WILL be the talk of the town if you move away from a more traditional portraiture style and go for the FUN stuff. And I bet I can still work some traditional smiles in those photos! Please think really hard about a unique spot with decent lighting that would support this theory of FUN! Locations thirty minutes or less from downtown San Diego aren’t charged additional fees.

This year I have several different card designs that I think will appeal to many and they are posted online at the link below. We have the 5×7 photo card, the 5×7 flat card (back and front) and a 5×7 folded tent card (four panels) this year and the prices include design time as well as your choice of paper (linen, pearl, watercolor, or smooth) and envelopes.

Families will choose a design, choose their favorite photos and text, and if needed, change the color scheme to match with their clothing.
